Crystal (Mrs. H) is amazing with the kids. The entire class is joy-filled, and the kids are all eager to participate and share with her. They create art, experience music, engage with story, get up and dance, and learn musical concepts without even realizing. Crystal is inclusive, respectful, and welcoming, and she makes everyone feel special. We love her class!

I was just thinking about the old normal piano class we with musical theory and daily practice of scales and chords - and while my daughter could do it, her music became so forced and flat. With Mrs H, she's rediscovered her love of music, turning to different songs to help her with different activities. Thank you for bringing the light-ness back to her musical heart!

A beautifully paced and whole explore of the musical concepts. My daughter enjoyed the variation as well as the repetition of the concepts, and the really embedded and secured the concepts in her mind.

As a musician myself, I wasn't sure if it would really be beneficial for my daughter to take a music class since she is already exposed to it so much.
Then after things started shutting down because of covid, I thought my daughter would enjoy being able to see some other kids.
That was for the first session, and since then we have been taking Mrs. H's classes. They're the highlight of my little's week.
My kiddo loves the songs from class so much that she sings them for the rest of the week. They're so sweet and fun. Mrs. H always keeps her entertained and engaged.
I can't recommend these classes enough. <3 Mrs. H has really brought the joy of music into my daughter's life.

We were so delighted to find this class after the shelter-in-place put a pause on our in-studio classes (and we won't go back! We will stick with Mrs H!). My daughter really thrived with the structure of the class, and how the theme was woven experientially with the different sensori-motor explorations over the four weeks. She felt really connected to Mrs H, despite the virtual setting. Mrs H has mastered the Zoom technology and online classroom dynamics such that my daughter didn't need to be prompted by me to pay attention or follow directions.
I appreciated the simiplicity of the class - where music was to be experienced with the whole body rather than an academic exercise. Some families might want more classical musical theory and practice for these ages, with performances to demonstrate skill - but that didn't work for us! My eight year old wasn't at all bored and has asked for classes twice a week next month!

Great class. My kiddo is loving it. Music, drawing, stories, crafts. My daughter looks forward to class every week she wishes it was more often lol. Teacher keeps class going. Not too much distractions. She is very sweet.

This is such a wonderful class for children who are looking to create a deep foundation of music with love and imagination. We had tried a different in person local music class that's focus was to instill discipline and an intellectual focus of music into young children and it really stifled my child's love of music and creativity. Mrs H really rekindled my child's relationship to music and her self regulation. This was our six class with Mrs H since the spring and we're committed to Part One and Two this year!

This class is a warm and engaging learning environment where children are consciously exposed to a variety of musical works. Students engage with the artistic trifecta (art, dance, and music) and make the works a part of themselves. My daughter sings all day every day and explores songs I never would have thought to teach her. Her vocal pitch has strengthened and she sings with confidence and pleasure. This is amazing to me as she has never had an in-person vocal lesson. I know that Mrs. H's fun-loving and personable presence has been instrumental in helping her build this skill and I am very grateful for the joy Mrs. H has brought to our home every week.
